About Us:
The Krewe of West Tampa, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017 to ensure that the history and culture of West Tampa is remembered.
The Krewe is a branch of the historic Sherife Association of West Tampa, Inc., which was founded in 1957, and is focused on community service, community promotion, and social welfare.
Mission:
To ensure the commemoration of West Tampa’s roots, culture, traditions, and character by educating others through positive interactions, supporting local charities, and participating in parades and other cultural events.
Vision:
The Krewe of West Tampa will be recognized as a vibrant, festive Krewe committed to the celebration of West Tampa’s rich history and diversity. This community produced Hall of Fame athletes, politicians, and many other successful professionals, while remaining true to the belief of supporting and loving friends and neighbors as familia/famiglia/family.
